Fresh Paneer Fresh Paneer Cubes

Did anyone try to prepare some paneer at home? Can you please tell me the different recipes you can make from paneer? 

Paneer is often considered as a "vishudha" food (in local language) because it is a pure food without any chemical agents, also it is possible to make it from the cow milk. Or you might consider it as a spicy food once you can add more chilly, masalas and salt along with it.

It is a semi-vegan source of food because it is neither from a plant source nor taking any animal meat. But, we required some cow milk for the Curdling process

This food could have been put in the "semi vegan categorybecause it is not purely vegan - so pure, soft and easy to digest from  it is coming directly from the animal, cow milk- a good-to-go protein source, especially for vegan lovers. We can either make simple recipes like salad or highly delicious, mouth-watering curries by mixing it with a little red wine. 

 Let me try my individual experience in preparing both fry and salad using some homemade Paneer. It is easily available in the market at a reasonable price, or why not trying to make it at on your own? 

Paneer is known as vegan food, people are using it in place of non-vegan items, say it is chicken or fish. It contains 18.3 grams of milk protein. 

Paneer is well known as "cottage cheese", and its alternative name is Foner. Based on the historical perspective, Chhena were first prepared in Bengal, under Portuguese influence. Before pressing the curd content in a molded form, calling it Chhena.


# How to prepare paneer at home? # 

You can make fresh paneer at home, by adding some acids like vinegar or acidic juices, say lemon. This process is called Curdling. Once it is done, the separated curds can be drained out using a Muslin, and press out the excess water from it. I would rather suggest you to buy it from the market place.

Making it as a fry, first off, we can go through the marination process, using the ingredients mentioned below.

Ingredients

Paneer cubes - 10 numbers 

The below-mentioned measurements are apt for, say, for 10 paneer cubes

Turmeric powder - two pinches
Chilly powder - 2 teaspoons
Pepper - two pinches
Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
Coconut oil - 5 teaspoons or based on your requirement

We have mixed all the above ingredients to the frozen paneer cubes and placed them inside the refrigerator for fifteen minutes. Once the marination process has been done, fried it well in a hot pan, using some coconut oil.



It is all about frying the marinated paneer using ghee, in a pan. Even you can make delicious curries (similar to meat curries) or mixing coconut milk along with the paneer curry or preparing salads using the paneer fry, and squeezing a little bit of lemon in those salads while eating.

Ingredients 

Fried Paneer or normal cheese- say it is, 10 small cubes (paneer) or 4-5 pieces of cheese
Cucumber - one number or based on your requirement
Onion - one number or eight shallots
Tomato -  one number
Lettuce Leaves - 3-4 numbers
Chopped Carrots - one number
Olives - 8 numbers
Black pepper - two pinches
salt- as required


First off, cut both vegetables and  into small square-shaped form (it is easily chewable when we cut it into small pieces) add those vegetables into those fried paneer cubes. cut the paneer cubes into smaller pieces, if you want to do that.  Mix all the ingredients well together using some salt and black pepper powder.

  •  You can add some spices or condiments to your most favorite paneer salad, to enhance the taste - to make it much better or there are spices that has healing properties or benefits
  • Adding some fat to the salad will add more food to your diet, by adding a little amount of olive or coconut oil to it. Adding variegated oils creates more unsaturated fats and oils to the food, it often adds more taste and flavor to it.
